A big congratulations to New College professor Ellen Spears who has been selected to receive the Realizing the Dream Call to Conscience Award at the Tenth Annual Legacy Banquet on Friday, January 12. The award recognizes an individual who, in keeping with Dr. King’s ideals of promoting social justice, peace, and quality, is providing the type of vision, courage, and leadership that seeks to improve the quality of life for all. Actor, producer and humanitarian, Danny Glover, will be the guest speaker at the banquet. What a wonderful and fitting honor for Ellen!
